I am not american, I'm from Barcelona, and if you ask any catalan or spanish this question I am sure they will answer burgers, fries shakes and pies....but if you read the dining and wine section of the NYtimes or Gourmet magazine you realize that Americans have no prejudice on any kind of food, you welcome any cuisine from anywhere in the world, and that's something to be proud of....
